Music Director- Ms. Carly Scholz
Since River Ridge opened in 1991 Ms. Scholz is the 8th music director at River Ridge High School. Students under her tutelage don’t just learn how to play their instruments, they learn how to grow as members of society and to build leadership and organizational skills that they will use through their life.
Ms. Scholz received his B.S. in Music Education at the University of South Florida. During her college career she taught as a brass instructor at numerous middle and high schools during marching season and Solo and Ensemble season. Ms. Scholz is a member of NAfME (National Association for Music Education) and Tau Beta Sigma (National Honorary Band Sorority).
Guard Instructor- Madison Nelson
Madison Nelson, received her B.S. Degree in marine biology, from the University of South Florida. She has been involved in color and winterguard for the last seven years. She has completed 11 successful seasons resulting in two bronze AIA Championship medals, one FFCC Championships gold medal and placed 11th ranking in WGI World Championships.
